How we fix errors

Corrections policy

Manufacturer documents change, and retailers add or remove exact SKUs. If a catalog entry is wrong or outdated, we check the source and correct the shared record.

What to report

Useful reports include an incorrect Thunderbolt version or port count, a mismatched SKU, CPU, GPU, memory or storage specification, an outdated US availability statement, a broken manufacturer source or a product image that shows the wrong family or generation.

What to include

Email hello@thunderbolt5laptops.com with the page URL, exact identifier, affected claim and the strongest available primary source. Manufacturer specification pages, manuals and configuration tables are preferred over retailer search snippets or unsourced summaries.

How corrections are handled

  1. The source and region are checked against the existing catalog record.
  2. The family, exact configuration and retail offer layers are reviewed separately.
  3. The shared catalog record is corrected so every page using that record stays aligned.
  4. The evidence date and affected page are updated after validation.

Affiliate and availability changes

A missing purchase link does not invalidate manufacturer evidence. We also do not add a new Amazon result automatically. The ASIN must match the full configuration before a purchase button appears.
